The «Pokrov» CCF has been helping the Institute of Medical Radiology and Oncology in the city of Kharkiv since 2013. We transfer medical supplies, devices, medicines and food.

The management of the Institute appealed to the management of the «Pokrov» Christian Charitable Foundation with a request to help purchase a high-power generator for uninterrupted operation of the hospital during power outages in the city. In such emergency cases, management and doctors are forced to send patients home. It is not possible to conduct an examination. Patients cannot get into planned operations, the preparation for which takes a long time.

After many months of negotiations, the «Pokrov» CCF found reliable partners – the humanitarian organization “International Medical Corps”, which provided a powerful 150 kV generator for lighting the entire Institute. Its capacity is sufficient to service all radiological equipment, laboratories and all operating rooms.

The presence of a generator during an emergency power outage will allow for vital operations, treatment and saving of life.
