Our Christian Charitable Foundation “POKROV” had the great honor of opening a week of prayers for Ukraine, dedicated to the anniversary of the beginning of military operations in Ukraine, in the center of world Christianity in the Vatican, and to end the prayer events with a charity concert and a charity lunch.

With the support of the Embassy in the person of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Holy See and the Sovereign Order of Malta Andrii Yuras and Bishop-emeritus, Canon of the Papal Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore Bishop Iriney Bilyk, the Christian Charitable Foundation “POKROV” is holding a charity event “With FAITH to UKRAINE” in the Vatican, in Rome.

As part of the “Week of Prayers for the Peace and Victory of Ukraine” program, dedidacated to the first anniversary of the Russian armed aggression against Ukraine, which took place in Rome on February 21, 2023, our foundation holds two charity concerts with the participation of artists of the Kharkiv National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet M.V. Lysenko under the leadership of the outstanding modern conductor Dmytro Morozov, who is the only Ukrainian who had the honor of playing the organ in St. Peter’s Cathedral at the Sunday mass of Pope Francis.

The first concert took place on February 21 (concert starts at 5:45 p.m., duration 1 hour and 15 minutes) in the Basilica of Sant’Andrea della Valle in Rome after the mass for Ukraine.
